If you use a CMS like WordPress or Drupal, we can host and maintain your CMS website, but this is only offered as a stop-gap solution until you can get your static website onto a suitable free platform like Netlify, Vercel, or Cloudflare Pages. While this does work quite reliably already, to ensure best performance, we optimize all CMS websites for speed and performance using CDN (Content Delivery Network) networks, located by and near Calgary so that even if our servers go down, your customers still see the site.

In our experience, 90% of websites don’t need a CMS and can massively benefit from a static website built with Astro. There are lots of other alternatives out there to just Astro which you can discover on staticgen.com.

For maintenance, we can draw up a specialized quote for you if you want help using a CMS of choice like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla. We would charge you our hourly rate in that case.

Note: if you go with a CMS like WordPress or Drupal, you’ll have to pay a monthly fee for hosting. While we can provide you with free hosting for the first month, you’ll have to pay for hosting after that.

If you’ve already put the 25% downpayment within the first 7 days on your website and decide you no longer want to move forward, we’ll refund you the outstanding 75% of the total project cost. That will be done with Interac e-Transfer, since we only accept Interac e-Transfer for payments.

For example, if you purchase the Basic Website package and put down the 25% downpayment of $1250CAD within the first 7 days, we’ll refund you $3750CAD of the remaining project cost of $5000CAD.

Alternatively, if you’ve just asked us for one-off website fixes or updates, we will not refund you any money. We will continue to work on the website until you are satisfied, and then we will bill you for the time spent.

At the moment, we only accept Interac e-Transfer for payments.

When you’re ready to make your 25% downpayment, you can send it to our email address: [email protected]. Once we receive the payment, we’ll send you a confirmation email and get started on your website.
